PRESS STATEMENT
BME National
The Executive Group of BME National has recently had a request from its Chair, Ms Lara Oyedele for a leave of absence to address issues that are affecting her organisation. It is with regret that we have accepted her request and interim arrangements will be confirmed in due course, following a meeting of the members in early December.
As Chair of BME National, Lara Oyedele has provided excellent leadership, dedication and commitment to our objectives, in addressing and promoting the needs of BME communities. We look forward to her returning to her role when issues have been appropriately resolved.
The members of BME National would also like to take this opportunity to trust that the Board and all those associated with Odu Dua HA act in the best interests of their tenants, staff and other stakeholders in any future decisions that they make in relation to the association going forward.
Cym D’Souza, Chief Executive of Arawak Walton HA, on behalf of the Executive Group of BME National
