Tung Sing Art Circle Exhibition
You’re invited to an exhibition of art by Tung Sing residents.
Tuesday, 30th October 12pm – 2pm Tung Sing Housing Association, Faulkner Court, Faulkner Street, Manchester M1 4EE
A brief insight of Tung Sing Art Circle Tung Sing Art Circle project involved our elderly residents enjoying 3 workshop sessions with an art tutor to create original art work to decorate communal areas.
By encouraging residents to take part, we also aimed to:
Improve the living space
Give residents the opportunity to learn new skills and take part in creative activities- benefiting their health & wellbeing
Create positive publicity for Tung Sing and our residents
And have fun!
8 residents, from various schemes, and 2 staff members attended 3 workshops, led by Dean Hall; a Tung Sing staff member.
The paintings will now be hung in the newly refurbished communal room at Faulkner Court, with an official open exhibition on Tuesday 30th October from 12- 2pm.
Refreshments will be served.
