Tung Sing Housing Association was founded in 1984 to assist the Chinese community in Manchester. It has now diversified its services and serves the wider community where it currently works and manages around 650 properties in Manchester and Trafford. The Association is part of Your Housing Group.
We pride ourselves in developing innovative solutions and providing high quality housing, support and community services.
We’re looking to recruit up to three new Board members to bring their expertise and experience to assist the Board in the strategic direction and development of Tung Sing to ensure we are properly governed, managed and viable.
As a Board member the role is very rewarding, as you will be making decisions which impact directly on the lives of many people. The position is not paid, but expenses and training/development opportunities are provided.
In addition to recruiting another resident representative, currently the Board will give priority to the recruitment of applicants with skills and experience in Business Development & Growth, Finance/Accountancy, or Governance/Legal.
Members from BME communities and those who are disabled are particularly encouraged to apply as they are under represented on our Board.
