Job Details :

The Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) is an independent, not-for-profit think tank. It was established to put social justice at the heart of British politics in order to alleviate poverty and reverse social breakdown in Britain’s most deprived communities. Success for the CSJ is when our policies effectively rebuild and improve the lives of disadvantaged people in Britain. Our policy work is deeply practical and informed by the wisdom of small and effective community-based charities.We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic, diligent and committed policy intern to support our Policy Department. The role is ideally suited to hard working individuals who have a keen attention to detail and an excellent work ethic looking to gain a varied experience within a think tank.We require:


• A degree 2.1 or above • Administrative experience and/or willingness to learn • Excellent IT skills, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel • Voluntary experience in an area relevant to the CSJ • Interest in politics and the work of the CSJ

Closing Date : 28 August 2013

Interview/Start Dates :

Internship due to commence in late September 2013 and last until March 2014.
