£47,599 pro-rata, including London Weighting (PO2 – 52, fixed term one year contract, subject to funding) 5% non-contributory pension (after six consecutive months), 30hrs, 4 days p/w and 21 days annual leave.

Race on the Agenda (ROTA) is an independent research and social policy charity which focuses on the issues facing Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) communities.

We are currently seeking an exceptional individual to take on the role of Chief Executive, based in our London office.

The appointed person will be ambitious and dynamic, with a strong grasp of strategic planning, proven fundraising expertise and policy development track record. You will have a good understanding of race issues and the ability to work with diverse BAME communities and organisations.

The Chief Executive must have management and fundraising experience. Excellent communication, teamwork, organisational and problem-solving skills are essential.  Equally you will have great attention to detail and be happy to pull together as a team player.

Above all else, the post holder will need to demonstrate passion for the underlying aims of ROTA, the ability to motivate staff and the ambition to meet and exceed targets.

Successful candidates will be notified on 2 January 2013 to attend an informal session on 9 January 2012 and a formal interview on 10 January 2012.
