Survival through collaboration – two half day events on collaboration[1] for black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME), migrant and refugee community (MRC) and infrastructure organisations – publicity and programmes.
London Voluntary Service Council (LVSC) recently published a research report of 15 case studies of collaboration. The case studies covered a range of collaborative models from informal partnership working to full merger.
Following the launch of the report we got together with partners in the BAME and MRC sectors to discuss the delivery of two half-day sessions specifically targeted at BAME, MRC and infrastructure[2] organisations to enable more effective collaboration.
[1] By collaboration we mean any work that organisations do with each other (formal and informal) with a common purpose and with a view to greater output than if they pursued the activity alone.
[2] We include both generic and BAME/MRC 2nd tier/support when we talk about infrastructure.
