Voice4Change England is the membership organisation and national advocate for the Black and Minority Ethnic voluntary and community sector.
Their vision is for a stronger and inclusive civil society able to meet the needs of BME and other disadvantaged communities. Their mission is to strengthen the BME VCS to meet the needs of disadvantaged communities.
The Board of Trustees has been made up of elected members and some of the original founder members. We now wish to diversify the skills of the board and thereby strengthen our ability to achieve our mission.
We seek a treasurer and a few new trustees to be co-opted to the board. We seek your passion to make a positive change to the Black and Minority Ethnic voluntary and community sector and the communities they serve. Coupled with that passion we seek individuals with one or more of the following knowledge and skills:
Strong operational and strategic financial acumen
Financial qualification
Business skills, particularly in change management and enterprise
Experience of partnerships and/or mergers
Knowledge of company and/or charity law
