Housing Pendle is set to hit the small screen as we once again feature in the BBC One fly-on-the-wall documentary series Neighbourhood Watched 2.
The first series aired to critical acclaim in 2009 – attracted more than 2.3million viewers for each of the four episodes – as it gave a fascinating insight into the work of housing officers and the task they face trying to help tenants.
Housing Pendle will feature again alongside fellow North West associations New Charter and Aksa.
In series two, the cameras followed Housing Officers Lee Barrett and Sandra Procter as they went about their business helping the people of the borough.
Life in front of the lens: Housing Officer Lee Barrett faces the camera during the filming of the second series of Neighbourhood Watched 2.
The second series will follow the same format as the first but promises to look at some of the more topical issues facing housing associations and their communities.
Housing Pendle’s Executive Director Ian Clark said: “It was a bit of a leap of faith to get involved with the first series but we are confident in the level of service we provide to our customers and we’re proud of what we do.
“We had some excellent feedback from tenants – and from other associations in the sector – as it helped everyone get a better understanding of what our housing officers do on a daily basis.
“We’re hoping that series two will be as well received.”
The first of the new four-part series airs at 10.35pm on Tuesday, March 1.
